A Level includes examinations in: Paper 1 - Listening, reading and writing (50%): • Aspects of French/German/Spanish-speaking society • Artistic culture in the French/German/Spanish-speaking world • Multiculturalism in French/German/Spanish-speaking society • Aspects of political life in French/German/Spanish-speaking society • Grammar Paper 2 – Writing (20%): • One text and one film; or two texts, from the specification • Grammar Paper 3 - Speaking (30%): • Individual research project • One of four sub-themes: - Aspects of French/German/Spanish-speaking society - Artistic culture in the French/German/Spanish-speaking world - Multiculturalism in French/German/Spanish-speaking society - Aspects of political life in French/German/Spanish-speaking society
