Computer Appreciation (Introduction)

Course summary

This course will provide you with a practical application of ICT, which will equip you with all the skills needed to enter into higher education or employment. The course combines different areas of ICT to ensure that all students get the grounding that they need to be effective digital citizens. Students will sit 2 examinations and 3 units of coursework across the two years, which consider amongst other things: - Networks; - Number systems including binary and hexadecimal; - Hardware and software; - Animation and using Flash software; - Producing and editing an interactive website; - Interactive media authoring; - Internet security. It is the perfect combination or creative and technical subject matter!
