Course summary

You will study four units over two years covering a range of topics. These will be: 1. Exploring Business (90GLH) 2. Developing a Marketing Campaign (90GLH) 3. Personal and Business Finance (120GLH) 4. Recruitment & Selection Process (60GLH) The Extended Certificate is suitable for anyone who wants to learn about the world of business, or is perhaps considering setting up a business themselves in the future. You will be assessed through practical assignments, external controlled assessment and an exam. You will learn about human resources, finance and marketing in a range of businesses. You will develop skills in researching, role playing, and working in teams as you work on your assignments. The deadlines for the assignments will be planned over the year and it is important to adhere to the hand in dates, so good time management skills are essential.
