Course summary
Sociology is the study of society, so it is concerned with what people do and why. Sociology is a theoretical subject that uses historical and contemporary arguments and debates to make sense of society and fully investigate the society in which we live. As we continue to live in an ever- changing world, you will consider global inequality, poverty, racism, sexism, gangs and crime. Sociology is an excellent complement to other A-Levels such as Health and Social Care, Psychology, Criminology, History, English, and many more!
