Course summary

This exciting and contemporary practical media course offers the specialist pathway in Image and Audio Production. You will learn exciting new practical skills and knowledge in preparation for further study in the media industry, Higher Education or the workplace. Designed in collaboration with experts spanning the breadth of the Creative Media sector, the Cambridge Technical Diploma in Digital Media focuses on the skills, knowledge and understanding that today’s universities and employer’s demand. Learners will cover a variety of subjects that will include, ‘Media products and audiences’, Pre-production skills and the creation of a variety of media products. These units will give learners an understanding of how different media institutions operate to create products that appeal to specific target audiences. Learners will gain knowledge and understanding of the pre-production, planning and production processes and go on to create a media product.
