There is a huge emphasis on practical work in Applied science so if experiments was your favourite part of science then this could be for you. The course offers the opportunity to develop students’ interest and enthusiasm for science, including how society makes decisions about scientific issues and how the sciences contribute to the success of the economy and society. You need to have a passion for all things practical, creative and a desire to develop and demonstrate a deeper appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of How Science Works.
