Assessment

Across the full A-Level course, the core themes of socialisation, culture and identity will all feature heavily. During both years you will study the key topics of social theory and research methods will also be assessed. The first year is divided into two core units, The Family and Education. The second year requires you to study The Media and Crime and Deviance. You will be applying the key issue of power and social differentiation to these core topics.
