For students studying the Extended Certificate (single) This course is the equivalent of one A-Level and consists of the following units: • Exploring Business • Personal and Business Finance • Developing a Marketing Campaign • Business Interviews and Recruitment Processes Students who are interested in the business sector and wish to continue their education through applied learning.
To be accepted into the Sixth Form, you will need a minimum of five grade 4’s, or higher in GCSE subjects.
Lessons will consist of theory based sessions which will then be applied to real world businesses through a variety of different assessment methods. These consist of: • Internal assessments – as set and assessed by subject teachers • External assessments – as set and assessed by the exam board • An external exam – as set and assessed by the exam board
