Units Studied Year 12 Unit 1: Body System and the Effect of Physical Activity Unit 2: Sports Coaching and Activity Leadership Unit 3: Sport Organisation and Development Unit 5: Performance and Analysis in Sport and Science Unit 8: Organisation of a Sports Event Units Studied Year 13 Unit 1: Body System and the Effect of Physical Activity Unit 2: Sports Coaching and Activity Leadership Unit 3: Sport Organisation and Development Unit 5: Performance and Analysis in Sport and Science Unit 8: Organisation of a Sports Event Future Pathways: This course will develop students’ body awareness, teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Students who successfully complete this course will be prepared to study for a degree in sports studies and business, sports psychology, sports education special and inclusive education, and sport and exercise science. Career pathways include sports scientist, physiotherapist, or working for a national governing body.
