Course summary

Whilst studying for your engineering career, you will develop skills such as communication and technical machining skills. You will also gain a broad and in-depth knowledge of engineering techniques and methods from both theoretical and practical perspective, gaining the advanced skills to be able to go onto a Higher Education Programme or an Advanced Apprenticeship. Courses are delivered using a range of methods including classroom based exercises, in the workplace or online study. On completion of level 3 it opens a whole range of possibilities for your next chosen steps to a career in engineering, such as an advanced apprenticeship in industries such as aerospace, automotive, manufacturing and service sectors, or a gateway to a level 4 and 5 HE engineering course at the college.
