Components 01 and 02 are assessed through written exams of short, medium, and extended answers, and Component 03 is assessed through a practical programming project for which students will prepare a portfolio of evidence. In order to gain entry into Robert Smyth Academy Sixth Form you will need a minimum of 40 points, including a grade 4 in English and maths, from your best eight GCSEs. Grade 5 or above in computing or science. Grade 5 or above in GCSE maths is also required.
