Assessment

The A-level specification comprises of 3 components which are: Component 01: Computer systems (40%), Component 02: algorithms and programming Component (40%) 03: programming project (20%). Components 01 and 02 are assessed through written exams of short, medium, and extended answers, and Component 03 is assessed through a practical programming project for which students will prepare a portfolio of evidence. Students will be taught programming using Python version 3 programming language in lessons.
