6 units assessed by a combination of internally marked assignments and external exams. Mandatory units include: Principles and applications of science 1, Practical scientific Procedures and techniques, Science investigation skills, laboratory techniques and their application. Two further optional units in biology and/or chemistry will also be completed through internally marked assignments.
