Paper 1 - Introductory Topics in Psychology (33.3% of A Level) This unit involves the study of 4 topic areas: Social influence, Memory, Attachment and Psychopathology. Paper 2 - Psychology in context (33.3% of A Level) This unit involves the study of 3 topic areas: Approaches in Psychology, Biopsychology, and Research methods. Paper 3 — Issues and Options in Psychology (33.3% of A Level) This unit involves the study of 4 topic areas: Issues and Debates in Psychology, Schizophrenia, Forensic Psychology and Cognition and Development. Each paper is a 2-hour written examination involving multiple-choice, short answer and extended writing.
