Course summary

Extended Certificate (Single Qualification): All BTEC Marketing students will study Business in the context of the UK and global Marketing environment. Across the two years of study, students will study a number of related topics, focusing on careers in marketing, marketing principles and customer communications. National Diploma (Double Qualification): Students will study, among other units, Developing a Marketing Plan, Personal and Business Finance, Principles of Management, Human Resources and Customer Service. BTEC Business Marketing and BTEC Business both require excellent LORIC skills as well as good standards of both literacy and numeracy due to the onus on completing exams, controlled assessment, coursework and essay writing.
