Assessment

The exams (Unit 1 & 2) must be passed to gain any qualification in Health and Social Care. Other units (Units 5 & 12) are assessed via coursework which is set by the School or Exam board and assess the work taught in lessons. It is advised that students who did not pass the Health and Social Care course in year 10/11 will struggle with this qualification. Students must be able to use their initiative, work independently, and show empathy and maturity to those around them in the wider community.
