Students will sit three examinations at the end of Year 13. Paper 1 – Markets and market failure Written exam 2 hours 80 marks 33.33% of A2 Paper 2 – National and international economy Written exam 2 hours 80 marks 3 3.33% of A2 Paper 3 – Economic principles and issues Written exam 2 hours 80 marks 33.33% of A2 The exams are made up of 15 and 25 mark essays, as well as a selection of smaller written questions using diagrams and data.
