This course is appropriate for students who like working with computers as users to create a variety of software solutions. This course follows the Application developer route and the units will include the opportunity to be creative with multimedia. On this course you will develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in IT and global information systems. You will learn about the IT sector as you develop industry relevant skills in app development.
- 4 or Pass in relevant subject - Grade 4 (or the equivalent) in 5 subjects.
There are three mandatory units in this course, unit 1 and 2 are both examined and will be delivered and assessed in year 12. Unit 3, 13 and 15 are all assessed through practical work and will be completed by the end of year 13.
