Course summary

Year 12 Students follow the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care. This qualification is equivalent to one A-Level. It comprises four units (three of these are mandatory). In Year 12 students will cover the following units: ● Physiological Disorders (Internally Assessed) ● Human Lifespan Development (Externally Assessed) Year 13 Students follow the Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care. This qualification is equivalent to one A-Level. It comprises four units (three of these are mandatory). In Year 13 students will cover the following units ● Working in Health and Social Care (Externally Assessed) ● Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs (Internally Assessed)
