Unit 1 Examination: Industrialisation and the People: Britain, c1783-1885 Time: 2 hours 30 minutes (40% of the total A Level marks). Students answer three questions. Unit 2 Examination: Revolution and Dictatorship: Russia, 1917-1953 Time: 2 hours 30 minutes (40% of the total A Level marks). Students answer three questions. Unit 3 Coursework: Historical Investigation Historical Enquiry (20% of the total A Level marks). This is a piece of independent research of approximately 3,500 words. It involves analysis of a historicalissue. It is internally assessed and moderated by AQA.
