Design and Technology (Product Design)

Course summary

Product Design encompasses the science behind materials, maths behind basic engineering as well as core practical skills. Within this course you will learn about the social, ethical and moral decisions designers and engineers face as well as investigating materials and their properties. There is a substantial design and make project within year 13 and students will use their practical skills throughout year 12.
