Course summary

There are many opportunities to extend your interest in the course. You will be welcomed to enter creative writing competitions, celebrating your creative writing and hopefully, providing a platform for publishing. We have forged strong links with The University of Manchester and The John Ryland’s Library in order to investigate further Language Change. You will also have the chance to develop your exam technique with the support from leading figures in the field, by going on a University revision day As well as leading directly to degree courses in English Language, Linguistics, and Creative Writing, you can combine the study of the English Language with a wide range of complementing subjects. It is also a strong foundation for students looking to pursue a career in Journalism, the Media, or Teaching, as well as providing a secure basis for graduate opportunities.
