You can achieve a Certificate or Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition, depending on the number of units studied: Unit 1: Planning to meet nutritional needs (mandatory) Unit 2: Ensuring food is safe to eat (mandatory) Unit 3: Experimenting to solve food production problems Unit 4: Current issues in consumer food choice.
If you are doing Level 2 in Hospitality and Catering then you need to get a Level 2 Pass. If you are doing GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition then you need to get a Grade 5+ To study with us, you should have at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including a grade 4+ in both English and Mathematics, and grade 6+ in the subjects closest to the courses you have chosen to study.
