Mathematics (Further)

Assessment

Students will complete the A-level mathematics qualification in Year 12 and the A-level further mathematics qualification in Year 13. A-level further mathematics comprises four papers, each 1½ hours long of equal weighting: Paper 1: Core Pure Mathematics 1 Paper 2: Core Pure Mathematics 2 Paper 1 and Paper 2 may contain questions on various topics from the pure mathematics content. Two further papers will be taken assessing the content of further mathematics. These are Further Pure 1 and Further Mechanics 1.
