Assessment

• At least 15% will examine practical skills • At least 10% will examine mathematical concepts Practical skills are also assessed throughout the course during lessons and students who meet the required standard receive a pass for the practical endorsement alongside their grade. This endorsement is a requirement for many Science degree courses. All examinations are in the Summer term of the second year. We will assess you at the end of the first year of the course to ascertain if you are ready to further your studies in the second year.
