Assessment

The A-level course will have two examinations and one teacher-assessed fieldwork investigation Paper 1 Physical geography- 2 hours and 30 mins worth 40% of the A-level. Section A: Water and Carbon Cycle Section B: Coasts Section C: Hazards Paper 2 Human Geography- 2 hours and 30 mins worth 40 % of the A-level. Section A: Global Governance Section B: Changing places Section C: Contemporary Urban Environments Teacher assessed geographical investigation- 4000 words with 20% of the A-level.
