Assessment

At AS level candidates will sit a 1 hour 30 minute paper on each module, each worth 33.3%. Each paper is assessed by essay writing and pupils will have a choice of questions to answer. At A2 candidates will also sit a 2-hour written paper on each module where they are required to answer two open essay-style questions from a choice of four.
