Course summary

This course suits anyone who has an analytical and curious outlook on life. We are very proud of the results achieved in both external examinations and in coursework, which surpassed the national average in 2019. There are opportunities for creative writing, a language investigation, and a number of trips to enhance your learning experience. Our A Level English students have a strong record for progression in employment or higher education. The subject is held in high regard by employers and Higher Education providers. The qualification can lead to a huge range of careers as every aspect of work has transferable skills such as analysis, critical thinking, and a high level of accuracy in communication.
