Course summary
A level of Maths is studied during Year 12 and will be examined in June of Year 13. Successful completion of A2 Maths will allow entry to A Level Further Maths in Year 13, again being examined in June of Year 13. Both courses consist of a varied range of core and statistical and mechanical skills. Students are expected to both demonstrate knowledge and skills and apply them using mathematical thinking and understanding. Problem-solving using these skills is key.
