Study Skills
Course summary
The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their own interests and skills beyond the classroom. Super curricular learning is at the center of this qualification, which develops the students’ research and independent learning skills. Rather than merely acquiring knowledge, the EPQ should stimulate a student’s interest and enquiry. The aspiration is for students to also learn and practice the skills necessary for progression in the world of work or at university, for example: identify, design, plan and complete a project; find, critically select and use information from a range of sources; solve problems, make changes and take decisions; and evaluate their outcomes in relation to their own learning and their agreed objectives.
