Assessment

Students will sit two written exams: • Component 1 2 hours 30 minutes in two sections including the evaluation of historical interpretations, 40% of A Level. • Component 2 2 hours 30 minutes including evaluation of primary sources, 40% of A Level. • Component 3 3,000 to 3,500-word essay marked by teachers and moderated by AQA, 20% of A Level.
