Assessment

You will be given both verbal and written feedback from staff at intervals throughout the course. You will build a portfolio of work based on a selected theme, which is ultimately worth 60% of your qualification. This will be marked by staff and then be externally moderated by a moderator from the exam board. The external set assignment makes up the other 40% of you’re A-level. You have the opportunity to choose your own theme from a range provided by the exam board. This culminates with a 15 hour supervised session, usually over the course of three days. This again is marked in house by staff and moderator by a moderator from the exam board.
