Course summary

Biology is taken up by students who have an intrinsic interest in the subject as well as those students who have career aspirations in medicine, veterinary science and other paramedical careers. It is also popular with those candidates who opt to take Geography in the sixth form as both subjects form a sound basis for careers in environmental science. In addition to extending the student’s knowledge and understanding, the course aims to encourage creativity and to develop initiative.
