Music Technology
Course summary
This engaging course will enable you to use industry-standard software used by musicians or composers to make or perform music; play back or record songs or pieces; or analyze or edit music. This is a practical course in which you will learn how to use the College’s recording studio and Logic music software for mixing, sequencing, arranging, and composing. You will develop your listening skills through analysis of a range of musical genres, from the 1930s to today. During your two years of study, you will undertake a work placement. You will also hear from a variety of industry speakers, visit career fairs, and attend workshops, trips, and visits.
