Assessment

The three exams will comprise of essays, source analysis, historical enquiries and use of historical interpretations. All modules will be examined at the end of the two year course. In Year 13 you will complete an independent piece of extended writing on one aspect of civil rights in the USA worth 20% of your grade. The course will include a range of learning types including classroom study, individual study, group discussion and debates, team work and presentations. There will be a Year 12 trip to Hampton Court to complement unit 1.
