Course summary

The EPQ is a single component linear qualification and an internally assessed qualification. Students undertake their Extended Project in the context of a project topic they have selected, in agreement with their mentor. The outcome of the project can be a design, performance, report, dissertation or artefact. EPQ will only be offered in year 12. EPQs are currently graded A* to E and they are worth up to half an A level, as well as UCAS points. An A* in the EPQ is worth 28 UCAS points, an A 24, B 20, C 16, D 12 and an E 8.
