Assessment

The first six weeks will focus on camera and software experiments; learning how shutter speed, aperture, ISO, depth of field, lighting, and composition can be used creatively and edited using Adobe Photoshop. Over the two-year period students complete a Personal Investigation (Unit 1) and an Externally Set Task (Unit 2). Both units require a personal response to a genre, theme, or starting point and involve the study of practitioners’ work and the development of camera, software.
