Exam 1 – Geological Investigations (35%) Exam 2 – Geological Principles and Processes (30%) Exam 3 – Geological Applications (35%) The exams also involve the investigation and interpretation of geological maps, photographs, and hand specimens. Students take part in several practical activities that award students a ‘practical endorsement’, which demonstrates competence in a range of practical skills. Fieldwork is an essential part of Geology.
