Multimedia
Course summary
This course will allow the students to explore more than just the traditional elements of Media normally associated with the A Level qualification. Students will focus on learning about theoretical aspects of Media audiences and products (Unit 1), alongside a detailed exploration of pre-production and planning in the Media (Unit 2), to prepare themselves for the external exam that they will take over the course of the two years. These units form a compulsory part of the course and the remaining time is spent on optional units that support the mandatory ones for the course. Digital Media is a subject that relates well to higher education, particularly for those students who want to go to university to take a course that deals with practical and theoretical aspects of the media.
