Course summary

This one-year VTCT qualification will provide you with a broad introduction to hair and make-up with a particular focus on working in film, television, and stage. You will learn about photographic make-up, styling and dressing hair, body art design, and skin tanning. The optional section of this qualification allows you to select from a full list of beauty units allowing you to choose which skills and knowledge you would like to develop further. The choice ranges from; instruction on make-up application, skin tanning, or eyelash perming. Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment.
