Course summary

This qualification is a substantial qualification and is aimed at students who wish to progress to a career within health and social care, either directly in an entry-level role or apprenticeship, or via the stepping stone of further Technical Level qualifications. The units you will study are: Health, Safety and Security in Health and Social Care; Anatomy and Physiology for Health and Social Care; Nutrition for Health; Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health and Social Care; Building Positive Relationships in Health and Social Care; Sexual Health, Reproduction and Early Development Stages. Three units will be coursework based. representing 40% of the total qualification. Unit 1: Building Positive Relationships in Health and Social Care; Unit 10: Nutrition for Health; Unit 13: Sexual Health, Reproduction and Early Development Stages.
