Course summary
Psychology at A Level is an interesting and stimulating course suitable for a diverse range of students. It is appropriate for anyone who has an enquiring mind, enjoys analysing situations and thinking critically. The course gives students the opportunity to develop their interest and enjoyment of psychology, develop skills of analysis, evaluation and presentation. Psychology provides a firm foundation for skills needed in Higher Education. It will offer opportunities for students to demonstrate the key skills of application of number, communication, working with others, and problem-solving in particular. WHAT WILL I STUDY? Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and experience. The course includes studying the main approaches in psychology and famous psychological studies. A key element of the course is studying the research methods used in psychological research.
