Paper Two: Language Diversity and Change 2.5 hours – 100 marks available Examination content: Reading/Writing: Evaluative task on language diversity or language change. Directed writing tasks on ideas in language development. Analytical response to an idea about language use in society. 40% of A-level. Non-Examined Assessment: Language in Action, which comprises of an investigation, creative text and commentary on choices made. 2000-word investigation 750 word original text 750 word commentary on the production of the text 20% of A level.
