Assessment

The Tudor and Germany components will be assessed via two written exams at the end of year 13. Candidates will be required to write two essays from a choice of three and complete a compulsory question linked to historical interpretations/evidence. Each paper is worth 40% of the A Level. The third component will be a historical investigation which will be worth 20% of the A Level.
