Design and Technology (Product Design)

Entry Requirements

- You must have a minimum grade 5 in Design and Technology or equivalent specialisms, e.g., graphic product design, engineering, fashion and textiles or resistant materials, etc. It is also recommended that you have a level 4 or above in mathematics, English and science. We will consider students with a desire to pursue a career in Design but have not had an opportunity to accrue the required entry qualifications. You will need an interview and a portfolio of work in these circumstances - All students must have gained a minimum of five grades 9-4 at GCSE to gain entry onto Level 3 courses, which should include English and Maths at GCSE.
