Course summary
To offer an engaging, informed and effective introduction to Psychology. Students will learn the fundamentals of the subject and develop skills valued by Higher Education and employers. Students will develop transferable skills including critical analysis, independent thinking and research. Students will gain insight and awareness into the role of Psychology in the world around them. Students will be given every opportunity to maximise their potential in a supportive and conducive learning environment. It is an academic discipline which seeks to understand individuals and groups by establishing general principles and researching specific cases.
