Assessment

The Sport (BTEC) course is comprised of four assessed units. • Unit 1: Anatomy & Physiology This is a written exam, lasting for 1 hour 30 minutes. • Unit 2: Fitness Training & Programming for Health, Sport & Wellbeing This is an externally assessed report that will be produced through the analysis of fitness data. • Unit 3: Career Pathways in Sport Industry This is an internally assessed report about the different career pathways in the sports industry. • Unit 4: Optional unit choice This unit will be a student’s choice, of either Sports Leadership or the Application of Fitness Testing.
