Course summary

Politics affects everyone, everywhere at any time. The study of Politics at A level gives you an understanding of the political processes of the UK, an awareness of both the development of British politics and its current state, knowledge of important political ideologies and an understanding of international political issues. The study of Politics helps you to understand how and why decisions are made on your behalf which will impact on your life, your future and your career. Politics complements many subject choices – especially Economics, History and Philosophy – because it affects all areas of human activity and is multi-disciplinary.
