The A Level focuses on contemporary business and industry and addresses topical business concerns. We study Marketing and People and Managing Business activity. You will develop your knowledge on customer needs, the market, marketing mix strategies, managing people and forms of ownership and leadership. You will also develop skills and knowledge on how businesses raise finance, conduct planning and manage finances. As well as developing an understanding of Resource Management and how External Factors influence businesses. In Year 13, your learning builds on your Year 12 concepts where you will develop your understanding on how business decisions and strategies are developed using different techniques considering various factors influencing them, assessing competitiveness and managing change. You will develop your knowledge of globalisation, global markets and business expansion and the development of business expansion into multinational corporations. Engaging in super-curricular activities are available to enhance your learning and gain a better understanding of business.
