Opportunity to study The word ‘Philosophy’ translates to the love of knowledge. Philosophers embark on an exciting journey in search of truth in an ever-changing world. Philosophy asks the most fundamental questions, for example: What is knowledge? How can we “know” anything? Why is there something rather than nothing? What is the mind? Is there a Metaphysical reality? What is right and good? How can we know what is right and wrong? These questions are the basis of human existence and vital for us to explore, if we are to understand our selves and reality. In asking these questions we explore and critique the arguments of philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Kant and some of the most important thinkers ever. We seek to learn how to create our own arguments based upon sound logic and evidence. Philosophy is not just a subject, it is a way of life that humans must develop to engage with the world around them and learn to make sense of things, using the highest level of thinking skills, joined with the insight of the greatest thinkers the World has ever known!
